The Glendale Memorial Hospital Emergency Department is an accredited American Heart Association facility, as well as an accredited pediatric emergency facility. Our specially-trained doctors, nurses and technicians offer high-quality care when you need it most.

Not every cut needs stitches, nor does every burn require advanced medical treatment. If you think someone could suffer significant harm or die unless prompt care is received, that situation is an emergency. Call 911 or the local hospital for help.

If you are experiencing an emergency please call 911 immediately!

Emergency situations include, but are not limited to, the following symptoms:

  • Chest pain lasting two minutes or more
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Sudden or severe pain
  • Coughing or vomiting blood
  • Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness, or change in vision
  • Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea
  • Change in mental status (e.g., confusion, difficulty arousing)

To reach the Glendale Memorial Emergency Department, please call (818) 502-4656.
