Welcome to the Glendale Memorial Heart Center, our nationally recognized, comprehensive cardiac facility. Established in 1992 by a core group of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, our Heart Center is recognized for its dedication and commitment to the prevention and treatment of cardiac disease. Our comprehensive program integrates a broad spectrum of services -- from diagnosis and intervention, to rehabilitation and prevention, in a state-of-the-art facility.
Glendale Memorial Heart Center is one of the fastest growing programs in California, and has some of the highest volumes and successful outcomes in the nation. We continue to develop new technologies, research new procedures, and create preventive measures to decrease heart disease.

- 2007--Glendale Memorial ranked as one of only two California hospitals that performed "better than the national average for heart-failure death rates" by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
- 2007--Glendale Memorial Heart Center was selected as Los Angeles County’s only cardiac program to receive the "Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care" designation by the Blue Shield of California Cardiac Quality Initiative and Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association.
- 2006--PacifiCare designated Glendale Memorial as a "Top 10% Hospital for Best Practices in Southern California."
- 2005--Glendale Memorial Heart Center was designated a Cardiac "Center of Excellence" from Blue Shield of California.
- 2004--Glendale Memorial Heart Center was designated a "Center of Excellence" for Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgeries from Blue Cross.
- 2000 & 2002--The Heart Center was nationally recognized as one of the 100 Top Heart Centers in the United States by the prestigious Solucient company.
