Most infants who required specialized care in an NICU grow and develop normally. However, some babies may be at risk for developing abnormal movement patterns and/or delays in development. Experience has shown that prompt detection and early intervention may help a child reach his or her full potential for growth and development.
Our High Risk Infant Clinic provides development assessments, information and support for you and your baby. These appointments are very important because they can help us identify signs or symptoms that may suggest a need for early development intervention. Our neonatal follow-up team collects and reviews your baby's current assessments at each visit. They will discuss their findings with you, and will also send this information to your pediatrician.
Our programs include:
- Apnea Monitor Follow-up
- Developmental Evaluations
- RSV Vaccination
- Social Service and Nutritional Consultation
